Presented in partnership with the Great Exhibition Road Festival, led by Imperial College London, the festival will bring together leading cultural institutions across the South Ken Culture Quarter, including the Science Museum, V&A South Kensington, Natural History Museum, Royal Albert Hall and Royal College of Music.
The programme will showcase established and emerging artists from India and its diaspora, spanning visual arts, music, dance, new media and culinary arts. Six women curators will shape a programme of exhibitions, performances and events across Exhibition Road, museums, concert halls and public spaces.
As Shefali Munjal, Co-Founder and Patron of Serendipity Arts, explains:
“South Asian creativity cannot be understood through a single discipline, tradition or geography. It lives as much in food, sound and movement as it does in a gallery.”
The festival will place London’s South Asian communities at the heart of its programme, while inviting audiences from across the city to experience familiar cultural spaces in new ways.
The festival will also strengthen cultural connections between London and India, building on collaborations launched in 2026. UK institutions will contribute to the next Serendipity Arts Festival in Goa, taking place from 13-20 December 2026, creating opportunities for artists and audiences to exchange ideas across both countries.
Further details about participating artists, commissions and events will be announced in the coming months.
